Wow! Another month has come and gone…time is flying by and there isn’t enough time to read all the books I would like to.
In August, I put a stop to my constantly signing up for book tours. I keep feeling like I’m reading too many ARCs and don’t have the time to get through some of the books I’ve had for a while. For some reason, I also ended up listening to more audibooks than actually reading, not really sure how that worked out.
I also hit 127 read books, which puts me at 23 books away from the Goodreads Challenge, so yay!
A cool thing that happened in August was that I joined a book club and we read Circe. I had previously read it and I was looking forward to reading it again since it was a read before I “settled” into reading slower. The discussion questions also made me take a closer look into the story and appreciate it all that more.
