This one definitely has the 🔥 factor! The story follows I’mya who has lost her memory and finds herself in strange place. Trying to escape, not really knowing why she needs to escape, she runs into a mysterious man and has a magnetic pull towards. Things get a little heated and then he’s called away. I’mya even more confused tries to find a way out but doesn’t.

Once she settled in, she finds out that she’s in the lair of one of the dragorai and everyone there belongs to the Master. The women are especially want to be at his beck and call. When I’mya is selected as the first to meet their new master, she finds out that it’s the same man she had met and that confusing attraction is still there.

It was an enjoyable read and I liked the way Zoey started off with so many unknowns but slowly started feeling in the gaps. I’mya is out through an emotional rollercoaster and I love that she stays strong through it all. Once she has gotten her memories back, she does what she was tasked to do even if she doesn’t 100% agree with it. Afterwards, she’s guilty but her inner monologue doesn’t do the annoying back and forth doubt dance. When she’s given the chance, and answers, to try to fix of her mistakes she doesn’t hesitate.

Nyro is a complete neanderthal, or at least acts like it. His clan is the last of the dragorai and they only have themselves to answer to so he takes the easy way out and just enjoys all that he can while he can. After meeting I’mya and especially after spending time with her 😉, his behavior starts to change even if I’mya can’t see it.

I liked the ending. It was HEA but it’s setting up for the sequel and I’m excited for it. I think I know who’s gonna be our next female lead!
