The adventures continue.

After their escape from the Alchemists and getting asylum from the Moroi court, things aren’t as easy as they thought they were going to be. Especially when Jill goes missing.

The final book had tons of revelations and some very touching moments. And Sydney is in the middle of it all. Old friends, old enemies and current enemies are all brought in.

After Adrian’s big breakthrough with conserving Olive’s blood and being able to mimic the Alchemists tattoo on Neil, they make a discovery that has the potential to change all that was known about strigoi and dhampirs.

After finding out about the corruption within the Alchemists, Sydney is able to reach out to one of the true Alchemists and convinces her to help with Jill’s rescue in exchange for information on the corrupt Alchemists and immunity for Adrian and Sydney.

Sydney’s life doesn’t exactly go according to her plans but with Adrian by her side, she was able to not only adapt with the changes, she learned to relax.

I truly enjoyed this series. Even more than VA. The time jump, was a cool idea and it was nice to see what their future was like but I feel like that left more questions unanswered and I will be waiting for the next spin off, even if it takes 10 years!

Bloodlines was an unexpected love. I wasn’t really looking forward to seeing Sydney be the main character but with Adrian’s help, I was able to be open minded and eventually accepted her. Bloodlines definitely brought out a lot more feelings than VA and because of that, it makes it pretty great in my book!
