Is there a 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 rating? Because this book, this whole series really, deserves it! I’ve said it before and I will say it again, JENNIFER L. ARMENTROUT is a freaking GENIUS!
Cas, Poppy, and Kieran are back! I’m really loving that the publication of the books is so close together because I would die if I had to wait a year or more to know what happens next.
It’s like we hit pause at the end of book 2, and hit play at the start of book 3. The story gets better with each new book and STEAMIER! Poppy is now fully immersed in this new world that has become her new reality and she is learning a lot about things that she thought were just stories. And she’s embracing what her true powers are. Of course, Cas has a huge part on how Poppy deals with stuff.
We got some answers to questions that we’ve had since book 1 but JLA left us with 1,000 more! So so much goes on. So many deceptions. So many power struggles. So many emotional (both good and sad) moments. So much sexy times. Who knew the Maiden was such a pervy perv?! 🤣
At the end when the biggest bomb was dropped, I absolutely LOVED how Poppy reacted. She completely embraced who she has become and is going to kick ass.
Eloana was such a big disappointment. That’s all I will say.
Who knows when we’re getting book 4 but we ARE getting ASITE in October which should hold us up….maybe…
