But as Anna and her Nephilim allies prepare for the evil brewing, the powerful Dukes use Anna's love for bad boy Kaidan Rowe against her, and her strength is put to the ultimate test. How far will the two of them go to keep each other alive? Will love conquer all in the final battle between good and evil?

Oh, my poor poor heart!!! I’ve fallen in love with this story all over again.

Kaidan is just so damn perfect. Anna balances out once things happen with Kaidan.

In this book, all of the conflict that had been building finally crashes down. The Neph are tired of having to do as their fathers tell them to do. With the help of Belial, and with Anna’s secret, they can finally see the possibility of being free. When an “ultimatum” is given to Kaidan, Anna can no longer wait on the sidelines and they’re forced to act.

Thankfully our group had some support from major players that tipped the scales. Unfortunately many are lost in the confrontation with the Dukes. But in the end, the Neph were liberated and given a chance to go to heaven instead of straight to Hell as is their fate.

The story ends with all of our couples making plans for the future. And we get a tearjerker of an epilogue that hit me right in the feels. Again, Kaidan is damn perfect. I just wish we could’ve seen more of what happens with the rest of the group.
