Kristin Cashore’s bestselling, award-winning fantasy Graceling tells the story of the vulnerable-yet-strong Katsa, a smart, beautiful teenager who lives in a world where selected people are given a Grace, a special talent that can be anything from dancing to swimming. Katsa’s is killing. As the king’s niece, she is forced to use her extreme skills as his thug. Along the way, Katsa must learn to decipher the true nature of her Grace… and how to put it to good use. A thrilling, action-packed fantasy adventure (and steamy romance!) that will resonate deeply with adolescents trying to find their way in the world.
This ebook includes sample chapters of FIRE, BITTERBLUE, and JANE, UNLIMITED.

Katsa is such a tomboy!!! And I love her. And I love Po for loving her just as she is. No expectations, no plans to change her, he takes her as she is. If anything, he’s willing to change what he thought his life was going to look like so that he can be with her. It was so funny seeing Katsa work out her feelings for Po. Hilarious!

Such a good story. Not cliche or overdone at all. Love that the male lead can step back and actually support the female lead to be the badass that she is. Girl badass is kicking butt and taking names. She does got enough some growth that finally lets her stand up to her uncle, the only person she’s ever let bully her. Po and Katsa make such a great team, they compliment one another. They go above what would’ve been expected to help Bitterblue, while putting themselves in a very very dangerous situation. In the end, they’re able to help and keep Bitterblue safe but not without suffering a big loss. But that’s just another instance of how good Katsa and Po are for one another.

This is my second read and I love it still. The moments when they’re traveling and Katsa is figuring out her feelings really get to me. Especially with Po being so open about his own feelings and being clear that he’ll take whatever she wants to give! !!awwww! 💜💜
