Unpopular opinion: I hate this book!
I wasn’t really looking forward to hearing Nesta’s story, wasn’t a big fan but didn’t really have any real hard feelings towards her, but wasn’t into hearing more about her BUT I had to read on to know what happens to Feyre & Rhys & the Circle. Out of the 751 pages, the moments where they were on the page, those were my favorite parts.
Another unpopular opinion: didn’t really have strong feelings towards Az and Cassian BUT did like getting to know more of them. Definitely looking forward to the next book and seeing more of Az! Cassian totally wormed his way into my heart and is there to stay.
I felt like there were a lot of things that were rushed and there were a lot of things missing to help a lot of the unanswered questions make sense,. I think the story would’ve really benefited from more of the Archeron family background, maybe with some answers I wouldn’t hate Nesta as I now do.
I really don’t have many good things to say so I’ll leave it at that.

- Catching up with the Circle.
- Seeing a new side of Az.
- Getting to know Cassian.
- Catching up with Feysand.
- Seeing some more female equality fighting going on.
- The House.
I ask that whoever reads this review is respectful of my opinions. I’m not bashing anyone who does like the book, just expressing my thoughts. Sad thing is, I’ve heard a lot of shit about opinionated people going one way or another and that’s stupid. People really need to be more respectful of differentiating opinions, it’s a free world after all…
I now wait to see what the next installment will bring and I’m looking forward to getting to know Azriel even more 😉
